Fair Top selling Berkshire boar at the Illinois State
Fair. Big Hickory’s Grand sire was the Big Timber boar
that Charlie McGee showed at the 2005 STC, purchased by
Hi Point. He had Neutralizer lined up in his pedigree
and was a massive boar from end to end.
Big Hickory has a huge foot and forearm. He is bulging
with muscle through his stifle and ham with a very broad
top. He is very flexible and athletic. A very problem
free boar.

boars are an outcross to a lot of boars that
are available now. If you need muscle,
soundness, length of neck and head, give our
boars a try.
Berkshire breeders, don’t forget how long
and hard we as a breed have tried to get
away from the short necked, ugly headed
berks with more back fat and less muscle. We
still need breeding stock that can and will
reproduce. We need boars able to breed sows
naturally and sows that lay down and raise
large litters of pigs.
